Engagement formats

Four ways to work together.

Every engagement starts with a written scope, a stated duration and identified deliverables. You know what you are committing to before you commit.

01

Flash Diagnostic

Understand before deciding.

Duration 2 to 4 weeks

When it applies

Something is not working — deadlines slip, costs drift, a process jams — but the real cause has not been established. Launching a programme on an approximate diagnosis costs far more than spending three weeks getting it right.

How it works

  1. Interviews with the people doing the work, not only those managing it.
  2. Analysis of the available data: indicators, milestones, costs, incidents, actual flows.
  3. Reconstruction of the process or programme as it actually runs today, not as it is supposed to run.
  4. Presentation to the executive committee, with the trade-offs made explicit.

What you receive

  • A diagnostic report: evidenced findings, root causes, ranked risks.
  • A map of the process or programme concerned.
  • A prioritised action plan, costed in effort and time.
  • A clear recommendation on what to do next — including doing nothing.

No obligation — reply within two working days.

02

90-Day Transformation

Visible results before the quarter ends.

Duration 90 days

When it applies

The decision is made and the direction is set, but nothing moves: the teams are absorbed by day-to-day operations and the project needs dedicated delivery capacity. This format concentrates the effort on a deliberately narrow scope to produce a demonstrable result within a quarter.

How it works

  1. Two weeks of framing: scope frozen, targets quantified, success criteria written down.
  2. Ten weeks of delivery in short cycles, with a weekly progress review.
  3. Change management carried out with the teams concerned, not around them.
  4. Two weeks of consolidation: measuring the gap, handover and transition to business as usual.

What you receive

  • The scope actually transformed, in production.
  • Before / after indicators, measured on the same basis.
  • Documentation and procedures taken over by your teams.
  • A roadmap for the scope not covered within the 90 days.

03

Programme & Client-Side Support

Reinforced client-side ownership, over the long run.

Duration 6 to 18 months

When it applies

A structuring programme — infrastructure rollout, organisational redesign, multi-supplier project — where you need client-side support that defends your interests against contractors and holds the governance together for the full duration.

How it works

  1. Setting up governance: bodies, cadence, decision format, reporting.
  2. Managing cost, schedule, quality and the interfaces between parties.
  3. Contractual and technical oversight of suppliers, acceptance of deliverables.
  4. Risk management and preparation of the trade-offs put to you for decision.

What you receive

  • Programme reporting usable in committee, at an agreed frequency.
  • A risk and decision register, kept current.
  • Documented decision papers, with options and their consequences.
  • At closure: the programme review and full handover to your teams.

04

AI & Business Processes

Start from the process, not the tool.

Duration 6 to 12 weeks

When it applies

You want to know where artificial intelligence genuinely creates value in your operations, and where it will not. The work starts from your processes and your existing data, with no assumption about tools or vendors.

How it works

  1. Identifying the processes where automation has a measurable effect on workload or quality.
  2. Assessing feasibility: data availability, data quality, legal and confidentiality constraints.
  3. A prototype on a real use case, evaluated on your own data.
  4. A documented decision: industrialise, adjust the scope, or stop.

What you receive

  • A map of use cases, ranked by value and by feasibility.
  • A working prototype on the selected case.
  • An analysis of what production would require: data, skills, recurring costs.
  • The points to watch: FADP / GDPR compliance, vendor lock-in, reversibility.

No obligation — reply within two working days.

Option: results-based fee

On engagements whose objectives are measurable and attributable, part of the fee can be indexed to the results achieved. The indicators, the measurement method and the variable share are defined in writing during framing, before the work starts.

What if none of these fits?

These four formats cover most requests without claiming to cover everything. If your situation falls outside them, describe it: the answer will either be an adaptation of one of them, or a referral elsewhere if it is not my field.

What about budget?

Fees depend on scope, duration and level of commitment, and are established after the first conversation. Every proposal is costed and carries no obligation.

Let's build transformations and infrastructure that perform, last and stay under control.
